Reconnect with your inner knowing
Each of us contains an innate impulse for health, wholeness and authenticity. When we are able to honor and tap into our inherent wisdom, we lead a congruent life which feels “true”, empowering and deeply satisfying.

The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice.
meet them at the door laughing
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whatever comes.
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

A Bit About Therapy
"You were made and set here to give voice to this, your own astonishment." Annie Dillard
Navigating this human journey is challenging! Inevitably, we can lose our way. We may experience trauma, grief, illness, feelings of anxiety or depression, relationship struggles, systemic oppression or other challenges that are difficult to bear, and muddy our clarity around who we are and what we want. Perhaps we seek temporary comfort through self-protective strategies yet remain feeling disconnected, distracted, ashamed or numb. Or maybe we've fallen into reactive but constricting behaviors which leave us feeling stuck, and sabotage our ability to claim satisfaction with our current choices.
Therapy should be a collaborative and relational journey through life’s digestion process. It is human nature to crave a safe and loving relational space to share ourselves and make sense of our lives. The paradox of human growth and transformation is that no one can do it for us, yet we can’t do it in a vacuum. Being witnessed and supported by an empathic, accepting other is sustenance during our soul’s journey.
"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are."
